When it comes to stereotypes, the list is endless. With fixed notions based on gender, color, race, color and body type, many define the term “beautiful” in a certain way. And if there is something that falls beyond that, he fails to reach the category.
In a desire to break the fixed notion, the UK-based clothing company began with a campaign that features six women with different types of skin conditions such as birthmarks, diseases skin, scars and more. Their goal is to challenge the perception of beauty and also to inspire women to accept and love.
The company published a photo of six women with a legend using the hashtag #InYourOwnSkin, “Meet the 6 women on mission to challenge the perception of the beauty of the world and inspire the babies of the world Whole S “love themselves, for themselves. Discover the #inyourownskin campaign.”

The campaign received positive feedback from people on social networks, many enjoying the move and calling on the company to be more inclusive. “So happy to finally see a model with psoriasis. The normalization of a very common problem that many of us suffer is such a pleasure to see !!” and “I hope this campaign will also help the progress of medicine that could someday improve the lives of many people living with these diseases. ” who followed the tweet.

The problem with the world today, when it comes to beauty, is that Photoshop and everything must be “perfect” but the truth is that women are beautiful and perfection is a perception of reflection. #inyourownskin I see these 6 as POWER and FEARLESS. PERFECT!

However, some thought that the company should have added a little more variation to the women who were featured.
Maybe they did not find black women with the conditions described
The race is a sensitive subject. If they had 6 black women, SOME people would complain that these models are the bad shades of black
Write to them and express your concern for the next complaint. Maybe it will help
